How to enable two factor authentication in Facebook from mobile phone
Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on Facebook can significantly increase the security of your account. Here are the steps to enable 2FA on Facebook using your mobile phone:
Open the Facebook app on your mobile phone.
Tap on the three horizontal lines located in the top right corner of the screen.
Scroll down and tap on "Settings & Privacy."
Tap on "Settings."
Scroll down and tap on "Security and Login."
Under the "Security and Login" section, tap on "Use two-factor authentication."
Tap on "Get Started" and select the authentication method you want to use: Text message (SMS) or Authentication App.
If you select Text message (SMS), you will receive a code via SMS every time you log in. Enter the code to complete the login process.
If you select Authentication App, you will need to download and install an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy. Follow the instructions provided by the app to set it up, and then use the app to generate a code every time you log in.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Once 2FA is enabled, you will need to provide a code every time you log in to Facebook. This provides an extra layer of security to your account, as an attacker would need both your password and the code generated by your authentication method to access your account.
